The Exiga Debut Fair goes from June 21 to 22 in dealerships throughout Japan, where you can get your hands on these plush Exigas and possibly win a trip to Tokyo Disneyland.

Teh Amurriken intarwebs are abuzz with the debut of the Subaru Exiga. Sure it’s nice to have a vehicle that can seat seven that isn’t an SUV or crossover, but I’m not quite sure what the big deal is. Give me a (now discontinued in the US) non-Outback Legacy wagon any day. (more…)

Subaru Exiga Debuts

The new Subaru seven-seater touring wagon goes on sale today. The emphasis is on touring, with features like a panoramic roof, second row seats that slide forward and backward independent of each other, and a reclining third row.

Engine options are a base naturally aspirated 2.0L producing 146hp and 191lb-ft mated to a 4AT. Both 2WD and 4WD versions are available, but of course what you really care about is the top-of-the-line 2.0GT. (more…)

Catching Up, Rapid Fire Subaru News

I had to take a break from blogging because it was taking too many minutos. In the time that I’ve been away, there’s been a roostertail dust cloud of news from Subaru. In no particular order, rumors of a 450hp were floated by AutoExpress. This picture isn’t really of the car, but the idea of a hopped up Subaru wagon gives me heart palpitations to the nth degree.
