Teh Amurriken intarwebs are abuzz with the debut of the Subaru Exiga. Sure it’s nice to have a vehicle that can seat seven that isn’t an SUV or crossover, but I’m not quite sure what the big deal is. Give me a (now discontinued in the US) non-Outback Legacy wagon any day. (more…)

Aygo Crazy When I’m Without You

Now this is the kind of project I like to see. Take the basicest of the basic cheap transportation - in this case the European Toyota Aygo - and jettison the stock 1.0L, 67hp motor and leave the engine bay empty while you stuff a 197hp, 1.8L turbo where the back seats should be. It cost about £100,000 to build, but who’s counting?
