Here it is, the new Honda Odyssey. Let me restate that the previous generation, especially in Absolute guise, is one of my favorite automotive designs of all time. It would have taken a lot to surpass, or even match, it, so I suppose I’m not too bummed out about the new look. As I have noted before, Honda seems determined to put that pelican mouth grille on all its new models, and it really doesn’t befit the sleek look of the Odyssey.

That being said, the new Odyssey is available with two 2.4L DOHC i-VTEC engines, producing your choice of 174hp and 162 lb-ft of torque, or 203hp and 171 lb-ft. The steering is now drive-by-wire and it gets 31mpg.

As always, it is accompanied by a slightly more aggressive version called the Absolute:
