Mamma Mia! Honda Civic Type-S Fireblade
In the IDM (Italian Domestic Market), Honda has released a limited edition Civic Type-S Fireblade as a homage to its CBR1000RR Fireblade motorcycle. Since Honda got its start making bikes that competed rather successfully in legendary races like the Isle of Man TT long before moving into automobile production, I find this match up completely awesome.
Oddly, rather than a more motorcyclish, high-revving Civic Type R, the Italianos decided to go with a 2.2L i-CTDi diesel producing 140hp and 251lb-ft of torque.
Things that are unique to this special edition:
- front and rear fascias with graphite air vents
- graphite colored mirror housings, door handles and fuel cap
- weird snowflake-looking graphite-finish 18″ wheels
- Fireblade badges throughout
- graphite colored floor mat
Three colors will be available - red, silver and black - and prices start at €25,190.
