Toyota Alphard & Vellfire Royal Lounge
It wasn’t that long ago that Toyota unveiled the redesigned Alphard, king of their mega-luxo flagship vans with a new sibling known as the Vellfire. Now both editions are getting the Royal Lounge treatment, in which the second row of the spacious people movers are replaced with a pair of cabinets and a fridge. The last row gets recliners, complete with foot rests, that look more luxurious than any piece of furniture I or my parents have ever owned.
