Catching Up, Rapid Fire Subaru News
I had to take a break from blogging because it was taking too many minutos. In the time that I’ve been away, there’s been a roostertail dust cloud of news from Subaru. In no particular order, rumors of a 450hp were floated by AutoExpress. This picture isn’t really of the car, but the idea of a hopped up Subaru wagon gives me heart palpitations to the nth degree.
Speaking of the Legacy, here’s a facelifted version courtesy of NihonCar.
Then there’s the matter of the Exiga wagon, which has been caught on camera in camo here and here. A minisite teaser was put up by Fuji Heavy itself. Exciting 7-Seater! The wraps come off June 17.
Next comes word of a Subaru Impreza Coupe, which will be the rest-of-the-world name for the Toyobaru lightweight RWD coupe. The Toyota version is now said to be Japanland only. Sad but true.
If that ain’t enough Subie news for ya, there’s also the 2008 Impreza WRC rally machine, which made its debut at the Acropolis Rally in Greece.
Finally, there was the much loved/reviled sumo modeling ad campaign for the 2009 Forester.
And on that note, that’s about as much Pleiad-related news as I can handle right now.
