Honda Advanced Safety Vehicle

Honda has begun testing its Advanced Safety Vehicles, an Odyssey minivan and Forza scooter. This is a joint project with Nissan Diesel and Fuji Heavy Industries (parent company of Subaru) to have vehicles, both two-wheeled and four, communicate with each other electronically with DSSS (Driving Safety Support Systems) so that accidents can be avoided. If this program is successful, in the future all cars and motorcycles will be in constant, computer-aided conversation with each other, ensuring that two of them never attempt to occupy the same space at the same time.
