UK Civic Type R Coming to Japan

Honda is bringing over a limited number of UK Civic Type R vehicles to Japan in spring 2009. No word on what will happen to the current type R.

Ford to Sell 20% Stake in Mazda

Ford is letting go of its controlling stake in Mazda by reducing its 33.4 percent stake in the company by 20 percent. Mazda will buy back just under 7 percent, with the rest going to “undisclosed buyers.” The two companies have announced that they will continue strategic partnerships (ie, sharing platforms).
